Welcome to the Website of the OSC Staff Representation Committee (SRC) – Staff Rights and Justice Initiative (OSC SRC–SRJI)
Standing Together for Justice, Dignity, and Accountability
The Staff Representation Committee (SRC) – Staff Rights and Justice Initiative (OSC SRC–SRJI) is an independent platform established to uphold and promote the rights, dignity, and legitimate interests of staff members affected by the closure of the Organization of Southern Cooperation (OSC).
Our endeavour is rooted in a simple but fundamental principle: every employee deserves to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity, and every employer has a responsibility to honour its contractual and moral obligations, even and especially in the process of the organization’s closure.
For over 15 months, without any salaries paid to them, dedicated staff members served the OSC with professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment despite extraordinary challenges and prolonged uncertainty. They fulfilled their responsibilities in good faith, believing that their service would be met with accountability and respect.
Today, the same employees continue to face the consequences of prolonged unpaid salaries, outstanding contractual benefits, and limited institutional engagement. Behind every unresolved employment obligation is a person, a family, and a livelihood that deserves recognition and protection.
OSC SRC–SRJI exists to provide a collective voice for staff, promote constructive dialogue, advocate for transparent and lawful solutions, and encourage the peaceful resolution of outstanding employment matters. Our approach is guided by the principles of justice, respect, good governance, accountability, and the rule of law.
We believe that dialogue is stronger than silence, transparency is stronger than uncertainty, and cooperation is stronger than confrontation. We remain committed to engaging all stakeholders—including the Organization’s leadership, Member States, host-country authorities, and the international community—in pursuit of fair and sustainable solutions.
This platform serves as a source of accurate information, official updates, relevant documentation, and thoughtful analysis regarding matters affecting former and current OSC staff. It also reflects our commitment to ensuring that the experiences and contributions of staff members are acknowledged and that their legitimate rights are respected.
Justice is not merely about resolving outstanding obligations. It is about preserving human dignity, strengthening institutional accountability, and reaffirming the values upon which international organizations are built.
We invite all stakeholders and any other party which cares about resolution of this dire humanitarian crisis facing the OSC staff to support our efforts undertaken in good faith to ensure a constructive, respectful, and lawful path toward justice, reconciliation, and institutional integrity and payment of outstanding salaries, benefits and entitlements pending over 15 months.
